This Month on Americana Outdoors
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Are you ready for your Americana Outdoors Presented by Garmin this month? Just like we've been doing for nearly 20 years, Americana Outdoors has shared some great tales of hunting and fishing adventures around the nation and there are many more to share in the month ahead!First up this month during the week of March 2nd, Americana Outdoors ventures out onto the water to go fishing with Wade Middleton. Join him as he travels to Sturgeon Bay to fish for giant smallmouth with the Cabela's Go-To Stick Bait. Follow him back down to south Texas where he'll launch his Ranger Aluminum boat into a large pond for an afternoon of fishing with the SPRO Poppin' Frogs and Square Bills.During the week of March 9th, Americana Outdoors newest staff members Cody Levy and Will Cooper hit the water for a quiet afternoon of fishing out of their Hobie Kayaks on an upper portion of the Guadalupe River. We then join a mix of the industry's top bass fishing professionals to learn more about some of the new SPRO Signature Series lures designed to help you catch more fish from the top of the water column down to the bottom.Next up during the week of March 16th, choosing the right gear for your fishing trip can be a challenge. The Americana Outdoors staff shares some insight on how different weather patterns affect fishing and what tools they use to catch some big spring time bass as they launch their Yamaha Powered Ranger Boats on several bodies of water in east Texas. And during the last week in March, Americana Outdoors presents The Challenge Series where two wide eyed but confident young outdoorsmen will challenge two seasoned veteran outdoorsmen in a series of fishing, hunting, and shooting challenges. See if two outdoor industry rookies have what it takes to take on two veterans of the industry. We'll also learn about some new fishing products that will surely help you catch more and bigger fish!Broadcast to over 120 million homes via networks including NBC Sports Outdoors, the Pursuit Channel, and other national and regional networks, viewers can join in on the adventures 52 weeks a year.
