Yamaha Whitetail Diaries – Hunting Out of Pop Ups

In this episode of the Yamaha Whitetail Diaries we are joined with Wade Middleton, Clark Wendlandt, and Michael Wersig for some whitetail hunts out of pop up blinds. They also discuss their likes and the benefits of hunting out of a pop-up blind.

When hunting, it is not always easy when finding the perfect place to set up a hunting stand, which is why pop-up blinds are always great to have when planning a hunting trip. With such blind you are able to move it wherever you like. It is your portable hunting stand that you can adjust and move to your liking. With this blind being enclosed, it tends to keep any deer scent you are using inside itself. A nice tip for when using deer scents and hunting out of a pop up is to face in the direction the wind is blowing. This will allow the scents to disperse and attract more deer.

Now that we have our pop ups, Michael and Wade go out on a whitetail hunt. Michael is up first going on his first handgun hunt using the Performance Center .460 XVR. Once Michael spotted his buck in velvet he made the shot and harvested a beautiful buck. Next up, Wade takes out the TenPoint Nitro X Crossbow for his whitetail hunt. He has his sights on two big bucks, and one was able to fill the freezer. Tune into this episode to watch all the action unravel!
